EM Slurry contains a carefully selected mix of Effective Micro-organisms that work together to ferment slurry. This fermentation retains nutrients, like Nitrogen and Carbon, as well as breaking down the organic matter, creating a pre-digested food for the soil.

EM Slurry uses N-Hance to create an environment for the microbes in Actiferm to ferment slurry. N-Hance is a semi-conductor which neutralises harmful salts that are present in the slurry. Actiferm are the living microbes that do the fermenting.
N-Hance is based on semi-conductor technology and was developed to counteract the aggressive effects of salts in slurry. These salts hinder the growth of the microbes found in Actiferm and prevent them from fermenting the slurry.
When Actiferm is applied to Organic Matter in the cubicles, slurry or to FYM the microbes work anaerobically to ferment the matter. By fermenting, rather than rotting, you retain nutrients and organic matter while reducing harmful emissions like Ammonia, Carbon Dioxide and Methane to create a pre-digested food for the soil.
