The future is foliar

To quote Gabe Brown, “we need to stop looking at yield per acre and instead start thinking about profit per acre”. It is a sentiment Agriton & Agro-Vital believe in passionately and it is the minimum requirement of all our products. It’s why we have invested so much time, effort and resource, into our foliar fertiliser range.

Foliar fertilisers are, without doubt, the most efficient of any fertiliser available on the market today. Yes, that is a massive claim, but one we confidently and robustly stand behind. For example, our foliar nitrogen fertiliser, aptly named EfficieNt-28, boosts nutrient use efficiency (NUE) figures of 99.9% which, compared to granular fertilisers optimistic 60% NUE, is a significant step forward in sustainable crop production.

Foliar fertilisers provide nutrients in a plant available form that are applied directly onto the leaf as and when the plant needs them. This results in a huge increase in NUE and, as it is applied onto the leaf, has absolutely no effect on the soil or wider environment.
