PerSist Pro provides a steady supply of elemental Sulphur for the soil microbiome which converts it to sulphate (SO4); the form in which roots can take it up.  Sulphate fertilisers, such as ammonium sulphate, bypass the microbiome and are taken up by roots directly. They are, however, very soluble and leach away from the root zone quickly leading to deficiencies in later development.

Sulphur is essential for protein & oil synthesis, chlorophyll production, enzyme activation and structural elements of protoplasm.
