Soil & Crop

Soil & Crop

The soil is the foundation upon which all plant life is grown and human life sustained. The health of the soil directly influences the health of the crops grown so it should be our number one priority.

Soil is made from clay, silt, sand and organic matter. Although these constituents may vary, the function of the soil remains the same. Traditionally, when it came to looking after the soil, we only considered the chemical and physical aspects. More recently, as our understanding increased, we have realised how important the biological aspect is.

Agriton and Agro-Vital place the health of the soil as our top consideration when developing a new product. Every offering from us is not only good for the plant but also for the soil. We do not believe in increasing yield, for example, at the expense of soil health and vice versa.
