Fermentation of Food

Pollen is the most vital food source and the primary building block for bees. It must undergo fermentation so that the brood can absorb it effectively. Normally, the fermentation process for pollen takes up to two weeks, but it can be delayed due to the presence of environmentally hazardous products, which can put additional strain on a bee colony's cycle. Adding BeeFood® to pollen substitutes aids in the fermentation process, allowing larvae to absorb the substitutes more efficiently. This, combined with the beneficial bacteria in BeeFood®, supports the vitality of the brood. The effective microorganisms in BeeFood® also promote a healthy intestinal flora. Administering BeeFood® can provide support during a Nosema approach, and positive results have already been achieved in controlling Nosema using effective microorganisms.

Application

To use BeeFood®, add 40 ml or 4 caps to 1 kg of pollen substitute, or add 20 ml or 2 caps to 5 liters of sugar syrup.

BeeFood® is available in a 250 ml size.
